When does an item ship?
Typically we ship out any order immediately upon payment reflecting in our bank account, or if payment has been done through PayFast, and the availability of stock on hand.
If stock is on hand we will have your order ready to be shipped with our partners. Orders placed before 2pm will be collected the same day as placing the order. Orders placed after 2pm will be collected the next business day.
If stock is not on hand, we generally get stock as soon as possible. We will communicate this through call or email, in order to make sure you are comfortable with the wait, should stock not be available, we will credit the order appropriately.
Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees and customers.
What does this mean for you?
- Processing times may be delayed. Generally processing times are within 1-2 business days* although currently those times vary due to the issues relating to COVID-19 and government orders and the impact to our business. Processing times may also be extended during holidays, launches/re-stocks, limited edition releases and promotions.
- We will notify you as soon as your order ships or if we foresee any issues with fulfilling your order.

Shipping & Handling Charges are as follows:
- Shipping will be calculated at checkout before payment is processed.
- On occasion Chi Chi offers shipping promotions, at which time customers receive free shipping if they spend over a certain amount. These promotions may change periodically. Orders can be tracked at: https://thecourierguy.pperfect.com/
- We are not responsible for any shipping deliveries that may be affected by customs, natural occurrences, ground transportation strikes or delays.
- Packages undeliverable by The Courier Guy will be cancelled and refunded once received and processed at our shipping hub
- Duration for shipping would be in general 2-3 days when shipping within KwaZulu-Natal and 4-5 days when shipping to other provinces in South Africa.
On most orders they are fulfilled through The Courier Guy, but in instances that they aren’t available we will utilize another third-party or if we are in your area one of our staff members would personally do the delivery as well.

We usually do not do international shipping as most of our orders are targeted for the South African market. But send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will be more than happy to arrange for shipment to be done at an additional cost which is subject to change.
